Free barbecue, ice cream truck, activities run Oct. 17 to 19 for opening of game-changer project Health and Active Living Plaza in Queensville.

This is the grand opening East Gwillimbury has been waiting for.

Save a spot on your calendar in mid-October for the much-anticipated opening of the Health and Active Living Plaza (HALP) at 160 Jim Mortson Dr. in Queensville.

Celebrations will run Oct. 17 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Oct. 18 and 19 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
